Nyala is inhabited by over a million and half people, mostly refugees fleeing the war camped in makeshift camps in the suburbs of the seven cities.
The Pediatric Emergency Center will offer free health care by qualified and 24 hours on 24 for children under 14 years of age for conditions such as malnutrition, respiratory infections, malaria, gastrointestinal infections and will carry out immunization programs and activities health and hygiene education.
The Centre will be open an outpatient clinic for screening of cardiac patients to be transferred Salam Centre of Emergency in Khartoum for the heart surgery and subsequent follow-up.
The property will be part of Nyala, in fact, the Regional Program of pediatric cardiac surgery and that the Salam Centre has its hub.
Paediatric Centre will be built on land made available by the Governor of South Darfur in collaboration with the local Ministry of Health. The project is endorsed by the Federal Ministry of Health.
